Our vision
For the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
Isaiah 11:9
We pray that people around us, in Liverpool and beyond, will come to know the living God personally through Jesus Christ.
About us
We are an Arabic evangelical Baptist church. We worship God, read his Word and pray together in Arabic, with English when needed. We are not simply a weekly meeting, but brothers and sisters learning to follow Christ together, with our door open to anyone who would like to get to know him.
Our story
Our church’s story is not one of human achievement but a testimony to the faithfulness of God, who gathers his people and leads them step by step.
The Arabic Church in Liverpool was founded to be a spiritual home where Arabic speakers could worship God in the language of their hearts, hear his Word and encourage one another in the faith.
Today we meet every Wednesday at All Nations Hub in Liverpool to praise God, pray together and open the Bible, and everyone is welcome.
On 31 March 2026 we dedicated the church, giving thanks to God for his faithfulness. Read about the dedication day.
Our vision and mission
For the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
Isaiah 11:9
We pray that people around us, in Liverpool and beyond, will come to know the living God personally through Jesus Christ.
Come to me, all you who labour and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28
We carry this invitation from Christ to everyone: to come to him just as they are, and find forgiveness, rest and new life.
Our values
These are not slogans on a wall, but convictions we pray we will live out every day.
God’s Word is our authority for what we believe and how we live. We read it together and seek to shape our lives by it.
We trust that God hears and answers, so for us prayer is not a last resort but the heartbeat of our daily life.
We worship God with hearts grateful for his grace in Christ, through singing, prayer and listening to his Word.
We are brothers and sisters in Christ who rejoice together and carry one another’s burdens, not just people who turn up to a meeting.
Faith is a journey that never stops. We encourage one another to grow in knowing Christ, loving him and becoming more like him.
Because Christ has risen from the dead, we hold on to a steadfast hope, however hard life becomes and however long we are far from home.
Who we are
We are part of the one Church of Christ throughout the world. With Christians everywhere, we share faith in the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose from the dead.
We call ourselves “evangelical” because we believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ and not by our own works, and that the Bible is the Word of God and our authority for faith and life.
We call ourselves “Baptist” because we believe in believers’ baptism: baptism is for those who have personally put their faith in Christ and ask to be baptised as a way of declaring that faith before the church. We also believe that the local church is a family of believers, in which each one serves with the gifts God has given.
Leadership
In the church, leadership is service before it is responsibility, following the example of Christ, who came to serve.

Who is this church for?
Whatever your background, your country or your spiritual journey, you are welcome among us. We welcome Arabic speakers from every background, and also those who understand only a little Arabic or who come along with a friend or family member.
God’s Word declares his delight in gathering to himself people from every nation and language. We are glad to be a small part of that picture in the city of Liverpool.
All those whom the Father gives me will come to me. Him who comes to me I will in no way throw out.
