Meetings and Worship
We gather around Christ every Wednesday
Once a week we come together to worship God, pray, open his word and get to know one another. There's no need for an invitation or to arrange anything in advance – the door is open to you.
Our weekly meeting
When and where we meet
This is the church's main meeting, held at All Nations Hub in Liverpool.
The meeting is in Arabic, and we use English where needed, so don't let it put you off if Arabic isn't your first language.
You can add the meeting to your calendar from the card, and it will show up there every week. The time sometimes changes for special occasions, so we announce any changes on the Events page.

What happens at the meeting?
The order may vary from week to week, but our meeting usually includes the following.
-
Welcome
We'll welcome you when you arrive. Sit wherever you feel comfortable, and feel free to ask about anything.
-
Songs and prayer
We sing Arabic hymns and songs together that express our love for God and our trust in him, and we pray for our own needs and those of our city and the world.
-
God's word
We read from the Bible and listen to a sermon that explains the passage clearly and connects it with our everyday lives.
-
Fellowship
After the meeting, anyone who'd like to can stay on to chat and get to know one another. It's a chance to ask your questions and meet new people.
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.
Matthew 18:20
We won't pressure you to take part in anything you'd rather not – you're welcome simply to come and listen. If you're bringing your children, have a look at the Children, Young People and Families page and ask us about the arrangements before you visit.
Our life together
Prayer and Bible study
Prayer and God's word aren't just items on a programme; they are the heart of our Christian life. Through prayer we draw near to God and carry one another's burdens, and through the Bible we come to know him and learn how to follow Christ in every detail of our lives.
That is why we give prayer and Bible reading plenty of room in our weekly meeting, and we encourage everyone to read the Bible and pray at home as well.
They continued steadfastly in the apostles' teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and prayer.
Acts 2:42
Prayer and study gatherings
If you're looking for a prayer meeting or Bible study outside the weekly meeting, ask us what's currently available – we'll be glad to let you know.
Would you like us to pray for you?
Share your prayer request with us – you don't have to give your name.
For every stage of life
A place for everyone
The church is a family of young and old alike, and we want everyone to find a place where they can grow and be supported.
Young people
We want young people to find a place where they can ask their questions honestly and discover faith for themselves.
Women
We'd love every woman to find friends to pray with and to share God's word and life's burdens with.
Men
We encourage men to support one another and to grow together in faith and in serving their families at home.
Families
We love having whole families with us, and we want to help parents live out their faith with their children.
If you're looking for a gathering for a particular group, tell us what you're interested in and we'll let you know what's currently available. To find out how we keep children and young people safe, read our Safeguarding Policy.
Your next step
Let's consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
