Prayer and care

We will pray for you

Whatever you are carrying today, you are not alone. Write to us with your prayer request, and we will bring it before God with love and care. You can give your name, or stay anonymous.

How we pray for you

Your request reaches people who pray

We believe that God hears prayer, and that he is near to everyone who calls on him with a sincere heart. So we take every request we receive seriously, whether it is big or small.

In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

Philippians 4:6
  1. You write to us

Share what is on your heart in your own simple words. You don’t need special phrases, and you don’t have to explain every detail.

  2. You choose who reads it

It’s your decision: the pastor only, or the church prayer team.

  3. We pray for you

We bring your request before God, with or without your name, as you prefer. And if you leave us a way to reach you and ask us to, we would be glad to get in touch.

You can ask for prayer about anything: illness, grief, worry about your family, a difficult decision, or questions about faith. We would also love to hear your thanks to God for an answered prayer.

Prayer request

Write your prayer request

Your name and contact details are optional. All we ask is that you write your request and agree that we may use what you write in order to pray for you.

  • If you would like to stay anonymous, leave the name and contact fields blank.
  • Choose who reads your request: the pastor only, or the prayer team.
  • Only write what you feel comfortable sharing. You don’t need to name other people or give details about them.

Prayer requests are not read straight away. If you are in danger now, call 999, or see the urgent help numbers below.

Optional — you may stay anonymous.

Optional — only if you would like us to get in touch.

Write what you would like us to pray for, as much or as little as you are comfortable with.

We treat every request with care and discretion.

The website does not keep your request; it goes only to the church and is handled with care and discretion.

If the form doesn’t go through for any reason, you can send your request straight to us on WhatsApp (opens in a new window).

Your privacy

We handle your request with care and discretion

What you share with us is held in trust. We want you to know clearly who reads your request and how we handle it.

Who reads your request?

You choose on the form: the pastor only, or the prayer team. We don’t share your request with anyone other than those you have chosen, except in the situation explained below where someone may be at risk. We will not publish your request or mention it in public.

How do we handle it?

Your request reaches us as a message to the church. We use it to pray for you, and to contact you only if you ask us to. Details of how your data is kept, and your rights, are set out in our privacy policy.

When might we need to act?

We treat what you share with discretion, but we cannot promise complete confidentiality. If something in your request suggests that someone – you or another person – may be at risk of harm, we may need to act to protect them, which could include contacting the relevant authorities. Where it is possible and safe to do so, we may speak with you first.

Pastoral care

Talk with the pastor

Sometimes we need more than a written prayer: someone to listen to us, pray with us and open God’s Word with us. If you would like that, we would be glad to arrange a conversation with the pastor for you.

Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

1 Peter 5:7

Conversation and prayer

You can talk about a hard time you are going through, a loss, questions about God and faith, or a step you are considering in your spiritual life. We will listen to you with respect, and pray with you.

Welcome just as you are

You don’t have to be a church member, or even a Christian. We welcome everyone who asks for prayer or a conversation, whatever their background. We speak Arabic, and English when needed.
